Well, you can go up to the gas dock and get a bunch of them key-floatie gizmos and attach them to the phone, or you can get one of them springie-hose-reel key-rewind gizmos that goes on your belt to always have the phone attached to you. That way when the phone goes in, so do you. And you'll be able to find it on the bottom as you'll be right there with it.
