Talked to a buddy today who is head of the Marine Police on our lake. He said this weekend is the busiest, craziest, drunkest weekend of the year, the one he and his guys hate the most,he said the #1 problem is alcohol,#2 is no boating common sense,#3 is simply not paying attention. I may not get out much, may just sit on my dock. Those that get out, be very, very careful. Lots of crazies will be out, doesn't matter if it's a 16' Bayliner or a 46' Skater, things can go crazy in a hurry this weekend,or anytime for that matter. Everybody have fun and stay safe. Happy Fourth to all our OSO friends. Robert and Karen

Robert, and it all starts on the highways and ends up on the water.
Everyone in a mad rush hurry on the roads and then when they are on the water they go balistic. You can be the safest driver out there but end up in the wrong place at the wrong time because of someone else.
Thanks for the kind words, we will be safe.
Happy Fourth to you and Karen.

It seems to be the case with many holiday weekends.
