GM is doing there final durability testing right now. From what I've heard they should be available within the next two to three months.

Default 572 Crate Motor Specs

According to Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center, they are "soon to be released" and "call for part number and price". They do list the specs though. There are 2 versions;

ZZ572/620
Tall Deck Sportsman Bow-Tie Gen VI Block
9.5:1
GM forged 4340 4.375" crank
Aluminum Rectangle 118cc heads 2.25/1.88
Camshaft: 254/264 @ .050" .632" lift
Single plane high rise intake (doesn't give brand but looks like a victor)
Holley 4150 850cfm
650 ft/lbs @ 4500
620 Hp @ 5500

ZZ572/720R (R being for Race)
Same block, crank, heads and intake
12:1 Compression
Camshaft: 266/274 @ .050" .714" lift
Holley 4500 1095cfm Dominator
685 ft/lbs @ 4500
720 hp @ 6250

The 620 horsepower short block looks like it might work just fine in marine application. A 572 with 9.5 to 1 compression, brand new and all assembled. I will just have to wait and see what the price is.
