He is probably up at the lake all weekend. Bring this back up to the top on Monday or Tuesday.

sup boys.. I just got home from the lake I have 26 hrs on this motor now and haven't had a problem.. untill today Blew a oil line and made a hell of a mess in the bilge got it all fixed and finished out the day.

The motor consist of these parts.

4 bolt block, .030" over
forged eagle 3.75" crank
Eagle forged H- beam rods, 6.00"
JE flattop pistons ( makes 10.8:1 Comp ratio ) runs on 110 octane
AFR aluminum 210cc heads, combustion chambers milled to 68cc.
crane double valve springs, 160 lbs on seat, 465 lbs open
ARP 7/16" rockersarm studs
Cranes best pushrods
Ferrea stainless valves
GM stock roller lifters.
crane roller cam 234/242 .575/.595 lift with 1.6 rockers.
Crane 1.6 gold roller rockers
Crane stud girdles
Edelbrock victor jr intake, port matched to heads
750 holley
EMI exhaust, port matched to heads
stock ignition
7 quart oil pan.
H series clevite bearings.

This setup is should make around 500-520 hp. Max hp at 5500 and max trq at 4500

I am happy with it so far, no problems at all. The boat still is not to fast, only mid 70's i think. The boat is a 18.5 ft powerplay, about 2750 lbs dry. I have been running the alpha drive with my last motor and this one, I have not had one problem with the drive and I ream the crap outta of it. Look into the www.airflowresearch.com It will have alot of info for you to read. My last motor i ran vortec heads on it and they are great flowing heads, plus made great torque.

for a idea....I had a little over $7000 into it and did all the work my self. The crank, rods and oil pan were used outta my old motor.

Awsome boat, had one for 10 yrs. I will tell you right now, give up on trying to make her fast. I went from a 330 at 53mph to a 468 at 62 mph to a 540/540 at 68 mph. I figured a 900 poker run motor might get her to hit 70
If you are running a small block/alpha package in ther,do not add power or it will smoke drives lilke crazy. Heavy Heavy boat for 23 feet.
