Waterfoul In High Speed Pursuit
#7
Anyone who has ever owned a 24 Outlaw can tell you that Baja didn't put the bow cleats very near the bow!! And reaching the bow eye in that rough water wiould have been impossible.
That's Kendra (naughtigirl) and Scott (RSCHAP1) towing me in. We WERE kicking his but in a race when the belt broke, don't forget that Scooter!!! Scott did a great job getting me back to the dock. Jolley got me to a parts store, and we were back on the water in no time!!
And Cord, if I had a camera with me on one certain day this summer, I'd have the same picture to post for YOU!!!

It has happened only once to me with the SCARAB.
I have two of everything except gas tanks.
The damn gas guage said 1/4 tank and both engines died. Funny thing is that I latter had to change the sender ( it was only working sometimes ) and when I pulled it out it checked out OK and read empty when the float was all the way down. And yes the pick up tubes go to within 1/2 inch of the bottom of the tank.
Darned if I know why it ran out of gas.
