Geographics makes some really nice flag decals:

Someone with a Baja (thought it was daze...) has them on the front, the low wind style, half hanging down.

Dock Holiday has the ones made by Geographics. They look real, they used vinyl then air brushed the flags, and finally clear coated them.

You have to remember that we are talking about real boats here. Not boats you play with in the bath tub I don't think Doc could comment professionally, personal opinion, or real world avdice.
