Default Used Boat Financing

Who do most of you finance your boats through?

My current boat is through Bank of America but I’m wondering if there are other financial institutions that specialize in used boats.

What are typical interest rates and required down payments?

I’m at 5.25% on my Baja purchased new. Are used rates higher?

5.25 is a great rate.

That is a-1 bottom line right now for most.

Best rate in the country that I know of is 4.35% fixed, 75K+, 20 yrs., '99 or newer. Bank of the West. I'm with them now, and hopefully will be again shortly.

5.6% on 2001, $60,000 with 10% down. KeyBank very fast and friendly.

That's a killer rate. Guess I'll do an Internet search to contact them. Will also try Key bank.

I'm spoiled now that I got my truck at 0%. I wish the boat builders could finance like the car guys!

Only if the dealer has bought the rate down, that isn't a broker rate available through Key.
