Any L.I. guys ever go to zachs bay(Jones Beach Ampitheater) to listen to a concert from the water? Lollapalooza is there next wednesday and I was thinking of taking the day off to go hang out in the bay and see whats up...anyone else going to be around?

It's tough, you can't get close enough anymore. They blocked off access to the beach. Also, the theater faces away from the water. Still fun.

You can't get real close. It depends on the wind direction whether you will hear well or not.

I was there this past weekend and it looked a little to far...I guess that idea is out the window...if anyone is heading out there on any upcoming weekends let me know...and thanx for the info guys.
