Default Faster cars.... What would you choose?

Selling T-Bird, found someone who will give me 2k, have another 2 in bank, only want to spend 3500ish on car.

Which one of these do you think is best?
-3rd Gen Camaro (305 TPI)
-2nd Gen Trans Am (would swap in 454)
-Porsche 944

Or any other cars that are running and decent shape for price?

Tommy

Hyper,

Late 80's early 90's Mustang LX 5.0 Liter. Reliable, roomy and real headroom. Did I mention TORQUE?

You just want something to drive or to race also?

Need something to be able to drive to school (by next spring will have $ for a truck) and race occasionally. Dont worry, everything will be on the track. Has to be decently safe stock, dont want to die for a long time.

Yeah keep it on the track, here in VA a guy got busted for 140MPH out of a tunnel. 6mos in jail. Keep it on the track, but let your exhaust be heard on the streets :-)

Blah blah blah.

The kid asked a question. The Porsche needs an inspection before you purchase. Between me and my family we have had 9 Porsche's. They are obviously gorgeaous but will also run forever (don't believe the hype about temperamental). The T/A would be fun too. I would stay away from the Camaro and the 305.

87-93 Mustang

Rear gears and exhaust and you'll think its a RACE CAR.

5.0HO Only takes a couple of mods to make those cars quick. Alot of aftermarket parts.

I would go with a late 80's Firebird Formula or Trans Am.
350 parts are everywhere. A close friend has one that he races.
