any math formula to get mpg or gph

Does anybody know a quick way to figure the mpg or gph for my 310 sunsport 454's bravo1 and 8200 dry weight 160 gallons of gas. I can cruise at about 3400 rpm

I heard something like 10% of your horsepower,then divide by 2 would be your cruise gph. Give or take a gallon or two. West Marine has a formula on the web.

HP times 0.08 = GPH at WOT for EFI and

HP times 0.10 = GPH at WOT for carb.
