Unhappy Boat Name/logo Dilemma

I HAVE A 42 MCMANUS COMANCHE, IT WAS BUILT IN 1994 AT THE ORIGINAL APACHE FACTORY RIGHT NEXT TO "GERONIMO" BY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO BUILT ALL OF THE APACHES, IT IS THE SAME AS A 41 BUT WITH THE FOLLOWING DIFFERENCES.....TOP DECK AND HAS TRIPLE ENGINES.

MY PROBLEM IS THAT EVERYONE ASKS ME WHAT TYPE OF BOAT I HAVE AND IF THEY DONT KNOW THE APACHE STORY ITS A LONG CONFUSING STORY ON EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENCE.

I AM REPAINTING MY BOAT SOON AND I WOULD RATHER HAVE AN APACHE LOGO ON THE SIDE INSTEAD OF THE COMANCHE HEADRESS. IT WOULD BE EASIER TO EXPLAIN TO SOMEONE WHY IT DOESNT RESEMBLE THE AVERAGE APACHE RATHER THEN WHAT A COMANCHE IS. MUCH EASIER TO EXPLAIN TO A PERSON IN THE KNOW RATHER THEN A STRANGER WHO JUST KNOWS APACHE.. IS THIS A STUPID THING OR DOES IT FALL IN LINE AS JUST ANOTHER MODEL FROM THE APACHE FACTORY?

Paint a naked lady on the side and no one will care who the manufactuer was!! Otherwise, go with Apache on the side if that's more comfortable for you.

You could incorporate the Comanche head dress into the paint work somewhere and hang some Apache Logos on the transom bro.....Be patient I will be talking to you soon. real soon.

Go with the Apache logo! Name the boat Comanche. Who ever may be interested in the boat in the future either knows the history or they are completely clueless (and will call it a cigarette boat, anyway. The friggin non-boaters.) You know the history of the boat, that's all that matters. Do what makes you happy with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!
