Stains at the water line
#1
Just got back from 7 days of boating on the Upper Chesapeake. Had a great time. However, now that the boat is back on the trailer what is the best way to remove the stains on the bottom of the boat and at the water line?

I found that a mag wheel cleaner made for polished wheels works great! You just spray it on and hose it off. Also Marykate on/off sold in West marine but it is more expensive and you need gloves to use it.

Slimy Grimy is good, not as toxic as marykate onoff, but on/off works better. I mix slimy grimy in a 2 gal weed sprayer, makes it easy to apply. The on/off will eat away the rubber washers in any sprayer. First thing I do after salt water is put the boat into a freshwater lake and clean the hell out of it..... same with the trailer... I love my disc brakes, so easy to clean, no rust....
