There is no spec, it isn't critical!

Thanks for the reply Dennis and others, glad to know its not as important as I thought it might be, Hey Dennis will you handle mercruiser parts and aftermarket parts when you open your business, and will OSO members get a small discount????
thanks again
Mark

Aftermarket parts but they will only be the best. Should have the web site up and running within a week or so.

Default VST Fuel level

I found it very good to add a RACOR filter in front of the VST fuel system. The standard Merc fuel/water seperator filter is much less fine than the VST screen is and will allow much fine debris to clog the VST screen.

Adding the RACOR may add virtual life to your VST screen as it will eliminate the extremely fine particulate from ever seeing the VST screen. It is extremely easy to replace the RACOR and not so handy to clear the VST screen.

Also, the RACOR will fit in place of the Merc on the filter base. No mods required. Cheap insurance I think.

Have you ever tried to purchase a VST screen on a Sunday morning ?
