Default LOTO condo - Heron Bay?

We usually stay at Lazy Day's, but in the interest of saving some cash are thinking about Heron Bay condos at 21mm. Are these anywhere as nice as the Lazy Days units? What are the slips like? calm water? Any other info greatly appreciated. It is just wife and I so the one bedroom at Heron makes financial sense, but don't want to stay at less than desirable accomodations.

Try Parkview bay. Right around the corner from Grand Glaize bridge. A little less than Lazy days and just as nice if not nicer. No place to launch boats but they have nice slips and trailer storage.

We are staying there for the shootout.

Call 800-237-3434 and ask for Lori

We stayed a Heron Bay a few times
a few years back, It'a a nice place,
calm water, good docks, good location.
You'll be ok there.

I've never stayed at Lazy Day's,
so I can't compare.

Dave,

I called that number and they quoted me $176+ per nite for Parkview and I think the slip was extra. It is 2 bedroom; 1 bedroom at Heron for $117. It is our wedding anniversary so we really didn't want to share a unit (boy you can read into that in more ways than one!).

Thanks JT29 - anyone possibly local with a recent stay at Heron?

Stayed there last year, in a 1 bedroom. Very nice, the docks are excellent, and they're pretty well sheltered. Their launch ramp is a b*tch. Steep, and tight.

Anybody in that neighborhood around the Ledges, Heron Bay etc. have a convenient place for me to tie up the ole horse? My Dad seems to think I won't have anywhere available at the Ledges. 43 x 9 and it can be on the outside at the end if need be.
Let me know.
Thanks
Terry

terry-

let me do some checking this weekend. i have a friend that owns an extra slip (45x16) at my place (Stone Ledge) that he rents out from time to time. Stone Ledge is just across the parking lot from the Ledges. when is your arrival and departure date and times?
