Default Props

I'm ready to drop my new motors in my boat (1992 28')and I'm concerned about my props. I believe I have 4 blade Hydromotive 24 X 14.5. The are turned "in" and I like it that way. I had 454 Mags rated at 350 or 365 by Mercruiser (I hear varying results). I believe the motors will turn approximately 475 HP (desktop dyno). The Torque is unknown at this time. I wil have the dyno numbers from Chief within 2weeks. Anybody have any suggestions?

I would start with 28 Bravo's and go from there.

Griff is right. 28B1s.
You should be runnin' 85+mph with that power at 5500rpm or so...

We need to get together... We boat in the same area.
I'd PM ya, but I'm not privvy to that here..
So, 954-647-5131 is my cell.
We're on the water nearly every weekend.

Thanks Tim!

I hope the boat will be in the water by Labor Day...that's the goal, anyway. I'll call you soon to introduce myself.

Thanks again.

Nick

Thanks Griff!
