While I was out on Lake Michigan today I got a chance to take a peak over the transom while running at about 3300rpm and water was definately spitting out of the hole of the drive cooling modification you did on my drives. I didn't get a chance to reach down and feel the temp of the water coming out of it, but I am quite sure it's doing its job. If I am able to reach it without endangering myself too much I will try again soon. Just thought I'd give you a "heads up".
