Question Keep It Original or....?

Dress it up?

I have an '89 Checkmate in almost showroom condition.
My wife sees all these wild paint schemes on these other hi-performance boats and asks, "When are you gonna have something like that?"
Well honestly, I love the fact the boat is so clean for it's age, and in itself, it stands out on it's own without the flashy colors.

What would you do?

Keep it the way it is. Wild goes out of style. I am betting you get a lot of compliments as it is. If the paint fades out so bad that you can not keep a shine then do the paint job.

those things always were one of my favorites. you dont see many of those 28's , especially with outboards. i would leave it the way it is unless it needed to be painted. post some more pics.

Its gonna be a tuff Christmas for you with all those boat accessories your gonna get

As far as the paint sceme I like it the way it is because it is in such great shape.........but then again does it really matter what we think
You better start looking into vinyl

Default KEEP IT !!!!!

KEEP IT THE WAY IT IS!!!!!!!! That boat looks great in all the pictures. The shot in PB looks awesome. Those wild paint schemes could be gone the next day.
