the starter doubles as a generator ya know
so the excuse that you need it in case of a blackout may do

Looks cool but the way the exhaust comes straight out the back makes it hard to build a duct. Looks like it would work better for an unlimited hydro.

Lycoming did build an 850 horse version that'll push a 16' cat just fine.

What you really want is a Pratt & Whitney PT6 or something like it. Rolls Royce and Allison build similar engines.
