Question How Tall Will The Bird be on The Trailer?

First of all this site rocks! I have been lurking for a while as my heart has been set on a Formula for next summer. I have been studying the "complete ### threads" to help with my choices. The info is great.
Lake Powell is my stomping ground as I live 2 hours away in AZ. The wife wants a cabin cruiser, I still want a power boat so it looks like a 311 or 303 are right up my alley. We will be buying used and most likely have to travel east to look/buy.

My ? is how tall does a 311 or comparable sit on the trailer? I am building a new house and am curious if it will fit through an 8' tall garage door. I have no problem storing it elsewhere but during the winter months it would be nice to have her at home for TLC.

Thank You!

I have a 302, if I remember in the morning, I'll measure it. I'm pretty sure it's over 8 feet.

They are over 8 feet. I have an 11'8 clearence at my old shop and that was JUST enough to get the engine pulled. I think my windshield is around 9.5 feet

My 272 is just about 8'1". It's hard to get an exact measurement because of variables such as trailer height and even ball height of tow vehicle.
I know I have an 8' car port and it won't quite make it

Thanks for replies. Bummer. The boat would get much better care if I could have it sitting at home.
