I have a 84 Formula 302 454's with King Cobra outdrives. My problem is that the boat will list to the port side at speeds below 45 mph. If I use my trim tab at 3 or about 25% the boat will level itself but feels funny to steer. Also the boat wants to pull to the left slightly. The bottom of the boat is in mint condition no hook with straight chines. I suspect that the drives are at fault but since I have only had a single drive in the past I have no idea of where to start with aligment?

Boat sits level, with both trim tabs up(the chrome piston on both tabs being equal in length) the boat lists to the right at speed below 45. Props same, and undamaged. How much toe out or in do I start with?

Andy I've been told that you should have about 1/2 of toe in . By that I mean that center of the prop shafts should be !/2 inch farther apart that the center of the nose cone. Hope that helps. Rick G.
