Default It's toast

Took some friends for a ride on Sunday before it started raining...Almost made it to Kelly's...Starboard lost all power made a turn to home. Engine won't crank.

It's my fault, I got airborne and was not off the throttles fast enough and was cranking too many RPM.

Time for more power...Back to the shop we go.

Glad I could give a ride to some OSO members before she went.

See ya next year.

Make sure to include rev limiters during the rebuild.

Ouch, sorry to hear, Lion.
That sucks. Rev limiters are lifesavers; not to be relied upon, but great for when you inevitibly miss one.

Thrillseeker told me he was running the snot out of it he said he could not believe the engines were still holding together with the throttles burried the whole hour he was running. He also stated that he thought it was strange that the oil pressure was only 10lbs at WOT but hey what do I know

Scott just to set the record straight, it was the other engine that shows low readings, the gauge is broke and I have a mechanical on the engine. Now I have all new gauges (I just got the last of them today) to put in.

I was really smashed Friday...I had to be to let somebody else drive it. CB 1 is the only the 2nd person besides me to run at speed and the only person to take it out W/O me.

Next year they will be turning slower, more boost, more HP. They ran great for 3 years. No Complaints.
