I made the move from Cleveland to SouthBeach 3 years ago and have to say it is the best choice I have ever made. Boating down here is unreal and there are always new places to explore. Add to that the hottest south american woman and nightlife in the world and this place is hard to beat.

If you want a central place to dryrack your boat, you might want to try Haulover. Thats where I keep my Fountain. It's definatley not the nicest place and a little old and run down, but the staff is great and they always take good care of my boat. There are a few high perfs there and alot of FL Powerboat members meetup there to ramp in for the poker runs. The number is 305-945-3934.

Central location to Miami and Lauderdale.

Josh

American Offshore in Dania Beach used to be pretty reasonable....they have a brand new facility and will probably cut you a decent deal......

Spinnaker Marina. Most of Lip-Ship's boats are kept there.

Do you want indoor storage or open to the elements?

Spinnaker Marina. Central location, clean, safe, secure and a short (10 min.) cruise to the Intercoastal. In N. Miami off NE 135 St. and Biscayne.

American Offshore in Dania, 3 miles from the Ft Lauderdale airport. Clean new facilities, secure indoor storage. Lots of good people in the area if you need service (Chief, Martin, BAM, Doller etc.).

Fort Apache no longer exists. Haulover inlet can be downright dangerous.
