Seriously , K planes are those long , hard things on the back of the boat than when adjusted up or down can control the angle or attitude of the hull while moving thru the water. By lowering them you raise the stern and lower the bow. This will help getting on plane and allow you to stay on plane at a slower speed. They can also be lowered to keep the bow down in rough conditions , so the bow goes thru the waves and not over them and have the waves smack the bottom of the boat(resulting in a smoother ride). If adjusted individually (side to side) they can correct for unbalanced loads. Also known as fat a$$ friends
