Question How fast is a 24 outlaw with stock power?

My brother is looking at a 1998 or 99 24 outlaw with a 454 310 horse. How fast are these hulls? How about with a 454 Mag or 502 Mag? How much power does it take to push it to 80 or so? Any input would be great. Thanks Greg

My buddy has a '96 24 Outlaw with a 454 EFI, Satinless Marine exhaust, Re-programed ECM and the best we can get out of it is 64 on GPS. I beleive he ran 62 stock. If you want to make them run.....raise the X , install some real tabs and then increase power. Dave Warden

P.S. Forgot.....ADD FULL HYDRALIC STEERING..... The boats seem to want to get a little squirely.

'98 was the last year that they made the 24 Outlaw. If he's looking at a '99 model it's a 25 Outlaw. The 24 should run upper 50's with a 310 hp 7.4 or 62 - 63 with the 454 mag.

Stock 454 in that boat is going to get you very low 60's max.

I have a 97 with a stock 454. It has big k-planes, and with a 4 blade it does 62 on a good day.
With stock power thats all she wrote...

It's for sale by the way...less than 200 hours on the motor..
