Don't know about the Mercs, but I have seen the 5 blade hydromotives advertised at like $950 each

My understanding is that there are some casting issues with the Mercury 5 blades. Mercury has not assigned a part number to them yet. I have heard the retail price on them will be $1295.00. My guess is that the street price will be about $999.00. As soon as they are available we will stock them. None of this information is confirmed, just what I have heard in the industry.

I know about the hydro's but I thought thay only had 32 as the highest pitch. I need 36's.

Does anyone know if I can get the Hydro. 36 yet?

A 5 blade Hydromotive 33 is equivalent to a 36 B1. From my tests.

John,
What were your top MPH results of the Bravo 1 36" vs. the Hydromotive 5-blade 33".

5 blade herrings are a good 4 mph faster than 4 blades.

Plus they are 15 1/2 props.I have a set of 34 herrings and 28 hybromotive 5 blades for sell ,that have only been run once

Ben,

Boat, 36 Skater, 500 efi's, x +2", 7800 lbs, looser sportmasters, 3 sets all labbed. 34 B1 =111@ 5500; 35 B1 = 111@5400; 33 Q5 (upped from 32's) =111@ 5300. I assumed 36L B1's would run about the same as the Q5's (5300)... Speeds are GPS, tacks are analog.

John

PS. We are Labbing the Sportmaster skegs for a test!!

Hi John I bought a pair of cleavers from you. Remember the big black box? Still looking for your lost 3mph? How do the cleavers run on your boat. What props were used to set the speed record with your boat?
Good luck Michael
