Baja Rally Cumberland
#2
Yeap. I made it. It was a heck of a time. I keep forgetting to bring my cable link to post pics. Hopefully I will not forget it tomorrow.
Anyway, just great that Baja was very well represented. I ate, drink, smoked cigars like I was a just released from cell block K on a weekend pass. They gave us probably 10 shirts and coolies, including the ones they threw to us during the poker run too.
I tell ya what, if you have not seen the 40' Poker Run Custom in person, all the pics you see here do not do justice to this boat about all the custom work on it. It is very tricked out.
There was an red & yellow custom 33' that was sweet too. With 496 HO's & whipples, he recalled on the speedo 89.7 mph!
Everyone who represented Baja and Alton Blakely were very professional and respectable people. Thank you for a great time and...........please do this again next year if you are reading this. Everyone who stopped by and I met who owned a Baja said they all appreciated the fact that you all took the time and money to represent all of us Baja owners as you did-THANKS!
Besides, who like seeing that other manufacturer prance around w/his jet black hair and matching sweat suit w/a gold medallion signing autographs
I prefer my manufacturer throwing a bash and enjoying themselves with their fellow boaters!
