Default XR top cap- is it billet/stout?

I'm taking delivery next week of Von Bongo's 28' Pantera with 575/ITS/XR. I'm pretty sure there is no drive shower. The factory top cap is ribbed, but I'm not sure if it's cast or billet.

Is there any benefit to using the innovation piece with the billet top cap or should I just get Simrek's full halo deal??

I prefer the tips on these units vs the 45 degree angle cut typically found.

Edit: I should note that it's getting Dustin's kit over the winter for a little more hp/tq. I just looked at their site- the intercooler dump feature will be nice but it looks like it's not an actual billet top cap, it goes over the existing cap- not sure if it will even fit the ribbed XR cap- will call Rich tonight- but if anyone has input in the meantime it's welcome

The new Merc XR top cap is ribbed for better cooling, has a steel tower, is thicker and is a better casting. From what Mr.Gadgets told me was that it is NOT a billet piece, but that it IS a much better, stronger quality casting than their previous top caps.
