Default New (Used) Boat - Need Advice

Looking for some input here. I'm settled into my new house now...3rd one in four years, and I'm finally ready to stop window shopping and buy something.
The budget is around $30K. Now I know some of you have sets of props that cost that much, but what can I say? I'm not into 20 year financing on a boat. Just the thought makes me cringe.
What you would buy in that price range? Boat's main use will be in Barnegat Bay, NJ.
I've looked at what I believe to be every boat in this price range on Boat Trader, Yacht World, and here. This weekend, I'm going to look at a '91 27 Fountain, that is supposedly perfect, with ridiculously low hours. If it is as described, this sounds like it could be the one. I'm just looking to see of someone has a particular recommendation that I haven't already considered.

How about a real nice 223 Formula? Check it out in the boats for sale section
