I see mention of Gaffrig and Autometer. But I never see anyone mention using Nordskog guages. Just curious.

Fountain used to use Nordskog exclusively. I don't think they have developed a GPS speedo like Gaffrig has.

This may not matter to some, but they are kinda plain too. You can't customize them.

when I looked at their website, I didnt see a lot of guages that would be needed for even an average offshore boat.

Actually Nordskog came out with the GPS speedo at the exact same time as Gaffrig. I secretly suspect that there is only one "analog" GPS speedo on the market. Nordskog also has a GPS speedo with a digital readout!

I had one of Nordskogs speedos in my old boat and was very satisfied with their product.

They do have a GPS unit, but I see your point unless the web site is behind I would assume they just make the black or white guages for marine. Not a lot of selection. Thanks

If I remember correctly- Gaffrig DID NOT deve;lope the gps speedo. They bought it from the developing company (or bought the company) & raised the price considerably when they put their name on it!.

We use Nordskog gauges in the race boat.....I love them
