Default How to get a boat from FLORDIA to OHIO

Hey guys.

I'm looking for ideas on how to get a boat from Flordia to Ohio.

Obviously I could drive there and get it. But time really does not warrant that at present.

Is there some company that offers this kind of service. Its just a 25 ft boat on a trailer. Probably weighs 7k. *ft beam.

Thanks Rob

from where in Florida to where in Ohio?
I have seen folks on here before that offer services like this, best thing to do if you aren't in a hurry is have someone bring it north then you can maybe meet them somewhere. You will see posts every now and then of someone making the trip. I would do it for you, but I'm in Texas, and it would cost quite a bit more for me to do it for ya'

Good luck

Put boat transport in your search engine, and a million transporters will come up. Do research on who you use though.

With all the boats being transported to Florida for the winter there are a lot of trucks looking for backhauls up north. Many will do a small boat like yours cheap just to cover fuel costs.

Call Biggus. He's on this board often and is always hauling boats from Maine to Florida. Often he is on this board asking if anyone needs one hauled north.

His name is Kirt. His board name is 'Biggus'
I'd put out a thread for him and he'll respond soon
unless he's on a Florida trip now. If I come
across his cell # I'll let you know.
