Default 3m 5200 question

Ok, I've got a small squeeze tube of 5200. I try to use it frequently to keep it from setting up, but I just can't use it fast enough. What are your tricks for keeping this stuff fresh?

When it gets to hard by the front of the tube, I poke a hole in the rear and more comes out. LOL, that sounded bad huh.

When I'm thru with it, I cap it and squeeze the excess back towards the back of the tube leaving the part next to the cap flat. Then I take a pen and press the flat against a table making it real flat and then I fold the end in a z. This keeps the hard plug from sticking very far in the tube. When it's time to reuse, I smash the bottom of the tube to fill the neck and then I open the plug up with a drill bit and most of the time it pulls the plug right out. I've never lost a tube yet since I've been doing this.
