How was the race?????????
I left the house bright and early for Chesapeake Beach, had done all the usual fluid and tire pressure checks the night before.......9am on Rt301 in VA..... RR tire on the trailer blew out. No problem, NASCAR style tire change and keep going.
10:30am Rt301 in MD.....RF tire on trailer blows out. I either hit something along the way, or this was an omen. Had to leave the boat at a drive up liquor store (gotta love MD) and go in search of a tire. Found a used one at a gas station in La Plata MD for $20 and the guy mounted it for $10.
I considered this to be an omen, not to mention it was 1pm now so we decided to turn around and head back. We did throw the boat in at Fairview Beach and run around the Potomac for a few hours. At least the day wasn't a total waste.
Wish I would have seen the races though.

The races were great.
Shah Mat, sorry to hear about your troubles. I put in at Chesapeake beach and rode across. It was a pretty rough ride in a '24. It was a little smoother on the way back. I'll post pics tomorrow when I have a fsater connection.

Dave M, I was trying to meet you there and bounce across the bay with ya. I knew the bay would be a little bumpy because of the wind that came with the cold front that came in Sat night. Oh well, maybe next time.
