Default Ohio sucks, I am running away

I have this all figured out, I am going to sell my truck, and take that money, along with the 30$ in my checking acct, and the 80 in my wallet and take a greyhound bus to Florida. I dont know where in FL yet. I think with the approx 2750 Ill have, I can start a new life there. Isnt this a great idea? Ohio is cold already and we have worse weather coming for the next 5 months. I need to sell my truck in the next week, so it sounds like Im trying to get a new car before I get my license back.

Arent I just a Genius.

Tommy

Good plan, if you don't do it now you probably never will. I came home from a business trip and my wife picked me up from the airport. While on my trip I had picked out a house on lake Norman, car and had been to the boat dealer. On the way home she told me she was pregnant. So much for that idea.

Two months later an opportunity came up for a transfer to another city. We moved out so fast we had to call our neighbors next day and tell them we were gone. Neighbor Dave then cleaned out all the beer in the garage fridge for me and kept whatever tools he had. He is still stuck in mid Michigan.

You may want to plan a touch more but go for it! You are young and can always go back. What is the worst that could happen?

So Tommy, what I guess you are saying here is that you need to come over to what used to be the "chicks n' boats" thread since is is the "moving to Florida" thread now. I'm planning to move after the first of the year. Gotta get through the holidays before I ditch the family! Just Once, you should check it out too!

It's so cold that I had to put a light bulb in the motor box to keep the engines from freezing last night. We are down 20 degrees from the average temp; set an all time low of 32 in Cincinnati yesterday.
