Default m&m steering

the resorvoir is low, do i add trans fluid or hyd fluid. its red now so i think trans?

Trans fluid. Turn the wheel side to side several times and check the fluid again. That should do it!!

I use Dextron II or III transmission fluid. "Type F" is supposedly to thick and would make the steering hard at idle. I have a Marine Machine Steering system with the Char-Lynn helm. No problems so far and it works well.
