After a lot of soul-searching, Randy & moi decided to go to bat again at the Nationals in St. Petersburg. Handcuffed and chained together if necessary we shall drive Purple Shmurple to certain victory.

Two minor details need to be taken care of:

1. I have business engagements in Europe for that week. I'm working on re-arrangements.

2. If One Design should run in the same race as F1, then there is a danger of the bat being half full again. And we don't want that.

I've asked Michael "Cesar" Alweiss himself. He doesn't know yet. But he told me that the matter has been forwarded to Mike Tomlinson and Jim Poplin (uh-oh.)

M. Alweiss did let me know that it will be a matter of how many P class boats the event will draw: "If there are enough for a separate race for One Design and P Class, then it's a go. For the two of you."

Jersey Boyz: Would you be amenable to helping your misguided bambini out? Show up in St. Pete for some great P-class racing and for moral support for the battered duo.

I've already put $200 in the "free drinks for the boyz" fund, which is held by Randy. And you know it won't last long unless you come down and claim what's yours.

Don't let me race alone again!

Not to worry. I won't kill you. I'll only throw you to Tomlinson, should the need arise.

Maybe I should fly out just in case so you will not have to drive alone?

A Calendar......I LIKE that idea!! Easy enough to do......
We could sell them at races for the "free drinks for the boys (and their PR people)" fund. Maybe with any leftover profits, we could buy Randy some new teeth??
