Other than a good flush, what can I protect heads from salt water running.Normally ran in fresh only. Not wanting a system ,but maybe a treatment for testing only.

There is a pretty good product called Salt-X that helps break up the deposits during a flush. They sell adapters that go into the hose attachment.

another thing to try is to hard anodize the water passage in the heads, that is what Edelbrock does to the alum. heads they sell for marine use,not as cheap as salt away but i bet it works well,Mark
