Default OT: 4 wheel steering on Suburban

Anyone have one? Is it as good for towing as a dually?

I understand the 4 steer system will compensate for freeway sway when towing heavy loads, like a 30 foot boat.

It would be nice if the 4 wheel steer system made it tow like a dually, but I find it hard to believe. Any experiences contrasting towing between the two?

CBR, I work for a GMC dealer and have driven the Denali /Sierra pickups with the quad steering. My service bay is in the tight area of the shop and I have to do a three point or so to get the bigger trucks on the lift. With the 4whl steering right on in!!! If you get to drive one take it to a lot and do a full circle in 2 whl steering then do it again in 4whl steering!!!! Huge difference. Haven't had any problems with these units!!!
Hope this helps!!!

I have driven the Sierra Denali with the same running gear. Here is my take:

I am hearing that the Quadrasteer will be available on many more GM Trucks next year. I REALLY like the way this system handles the Sierra Denali. In the test drive, I intentionaly threw the truck into the next lane at 60mph to see what it would do. When I gave the steering wheel little tug, allowing for a natural recovery from EVERY truck we all drive now, I nearly threw the entire truck BACK into the original lane. Sway is GONE. Body roll is GONE. It was like a Z06 pickup truck, it stuck so well. I was impressed. (If you do this, make sure you warn the Sales Rep first.)
