If you have a K&N filter on a 496, could someone please tell me the K&N part #?

I think it starts out like 59-????

That's it ! But, don't put one on for a change in proformance, because there isn't one. Just a filter, very expencive, though.

I stripped out all but the top layer of my stock unit and found 100+ RPM's. Not much of a spark arrestor any more though.

SHOCKWAVE- I did almost the same thing to both of mine only I left 3 layers. It still looked right. I have had two unexpected safty inspections. Didn't catch it- hell they arn't even bolted down. It's a ***** to blow out a carb fire through the flame arrester!
