thanks for the link, I am also looking at Gill and Imco, I heard that imco runs the water through the flange instead of a hose bypass will this cause problems

I am also planning on buying new manifolds, for a 502 carb. Maybe we could get a group discount. I am also looking at buying used.

H2Xmark,

I have a set of IMCO Powerflow's with the short risers for captains call, all the brackets, hoses, belts, etc. to install on a Gen V engine.

If interested lets talk.

I bought a set from Dennis Moore, they were quite a bit less than Merc manifolds and are supposed to flow better. I still don't have the engine together yet, so I can't give an opinion on the performance. They were cost effective enough that I had them shipped from Cali and still saved quite a bit.

I just did Stainless Marine exhausts. The engines really run much stronger.
I actually lost speed on top because I can't keep 'em off the rev limiters. I have some new props to test next week.
The SMs sure were'nt cheap....

And... I have a leak on one of them somewhere... I can't find it too easy. I tried while the engine was at 3000 on the hose, but no evdence...
I know I have a leak because the water dries and leaves salt behind...
