Default 39 Aronow Cat

Hello
I would appreciate information about these boats.
How are they built? How do they handle rough water? Etc
Likes and dislikes.
Thanks, Ed

Do a search, there are already a bunch of threads on these boats, incuding this recent one.

They are the equivalent of school cafeteria food...the bad news is that they aren't good. The good news is that you get a big portion 'cause they are big boats.

Actually, they are not badly designed...they were not "designed" at all...Aronow took a 39 Cigarette hull cut it in half lengthwise and added a tunnel between the halves......which gives you some idea of just how far removed from true catamaran dynamics...he was.

CORRECT. One other thing is that they go the same speed with any HP. cb

UMMM? Does that mean that they achieve 58 mph with a 5 1/2 hp outboard? Maybe this design is better than I thought.
