COME ON DOWN!!!!!!

I am in Boca, a few miles north of ya, Plenty of places to launch, The ramp we use most is in Delray, right in the ICW, a little crowded for Parking, but great Access. There is a good ramp in Boca, at the end of palmetto Park road, but you have to be a Palm Beach County Resident in order to get the $25 yearly pass, otherwise $300 yearly. There is a DECENT ramp in Deerfield that SBI used last weekend. There are a few more in Broward County, closer to Port Everglades. Haulover Park in Miami is Nice also.

Check this Link

Boat storage is another story, Trailer or Dry storage??

If you are on a trailer there is a place on Hillsboro Boulevard, in deerfield, there is also a place on Powerline road in Pompano. Not sure of any others, but if you need more info, let me know, I can take a ride by, and get the numbers.

If you want dry rack storage, get out your wallett!!!!!!

Cheapest place in town is Jacson Marine center

http://www.jacksonmarine.com/

They are a pain, 4 miles up the river from port Everglades, all no-wake zone.

BEST(and most expensive) place, Marina one

http://www.marinaone.com/color/

Beutiful Marina, and yacht club, halfway between Boca Inlet, and Hillsboro inlet. Again, there are others, just let me know what your looking for, Type, and size of boat, trailer, dry, or wet slip. I would highly suggest not getting a wet slip, unless you use a lift. We trailer our boats, makes it easy to move around to different areas of the East Coast of FL. anywhere from West Palm to Key West.

When are you moving?, I am sure myself, and some of the other locals, and OSO members would like to meet up, and show you the local water(ing holes)!!!!!!

I swear Rick keeps this stuff on file....
Anyway,
Lots of boating to do here. We try to go out at least every other weekend.
There's a lot of marinas, but you need to be careful about who to trust your boat to.
Me, I keep it on a trailer parked where I work...
There are several Hi Dry buildings to choose from, but you'll have to pay$$$$$$
For example: Haulover outside Hi dry, $260/month!
When ya movin to town?
This pic is at the Boca Inlet.. The pic is 4 months old, but this is boca lake..you'll be there...

Nah,

Got the sites stored in Fav's, just cuz I had to do the research before I moved down, and I knew someone was going to ask, but typing it is done each time someone asks. Maybe I should write it up in a word document, and store it somewhere????

Tim,

Did you notice I was pushing the lift???? Although its gonna be kinda hard for him to get the boat to the water if its on a lift in Coral Springs!!!!!!!

$499/month, my back yard!!!!!!!

Just joking

What is it???? I assume a 27' Baja????

Jackson will run ya 185-232, I believe they will also do trailer storage a little cheaper.

For trailer storage try here,

http://www.usamarinecenter.com/storage.asp

there are others, but not well advertised.

Come on down!!

We will be moving to Palm Beach Jan. 1, and the more the merrier.

We will do most of our Atlantic boating off the Boca/Deerfield inlet area. As Rick said, it's the easiest and split distances from Palm Beach/Ft. Lauderdale areas.

Check out Penells Marina, just down the canal from Marina One in Deerfield. Alot cheaper than Marina One. Its only about a 15 minute ride to Lake Boca and then another 5 minutes to the inlet. 14th street ramp in Pompano is a good place to launch. If I recall correctly they have 3 double wide slips there with plenty of parking. Its about 20 minutes to Hillsboro inlet there.

yeah, 14th street is pretty good. Steep, but good. plenty of parking.
Haulover is certainly my favorite. Nice slope, long ramp, parking, ramps for at least 6 trailers at once.
