Prop and Exhaust covers at LOTO?
#1
I am at LOTO to close everything up for the winter. I forgot to order the exhaust tip covers and a prop cover. Does anyone know if any dealer carries them down here? If not, where is the best place to order them? Thanks

you looking for something that looks cool?
Or are you looking for functionallity to keep the winter things out?
If it is the later just take off your props, grease the splines well, wrap with aluminum foil to prevent dust and dirt grime, plus it keeps the grease clean for spring.
Tips, get some large freezer bags and zip tie them on.
I have heard of people putting vasiline around the bag to seal out moisture.
Most importantly, get some Downy dryer sheets.
Put them in all closed areas. Bilge, storage shelfs or compartments glove boxes etc. Keeps the rodents out and will make it stay fresh in the spring.
Also do not forget the containers of moisture traps.
They work great at getting the last bit of moisture out.
been doing this for years on the last 5 boats and have had no troubles.
