Unhappy Lost our Old friend Wednesday

My wife had to put her 14 year old Golden Retriever down on wednesday. He lived a great life.....spoiled rotten. He had cancer in his throat and after it was removed he was only given a few months....he lasted 2 years. He had a mass around his heart and it finally got the better of him. We will miss him dearly. Remember Lesley he is in a better place.

Very sorry to hear that.
I like pets more than I like some people.

I am so sorry to here this! It is always so very difficult to loose a pet, a member of the family. We will be thinking of your family.

Sorry to hear about this, I know I can remember my last Lab very well, my current Lab is 8 so there are still some good years left.

Leslie/John,

Sorry to hear that. You get attached to pets in no time, so 14 years really imprints them on you (and vice-versa). He had a great run and great owners, though.
