Default what's your favorite single-engine 25-28 feet?

Must be single big block, good all-around boat for family fun, poker runs, skiing, etc.

I've narrowed it down to these:

Baja 272
Formula 271 Fastech
Fountain 27
Pantera 28
Sunsation 288
Sonic 26 or 28
Donzi 26
Active thunder 25

Opinions?

Thanks

What about a Velocity, they are a good all round boat in that size for what you listed to do. Pretty fast with a 500 hp.

Pantera 28 is my first choice.I am doing allot of research on my next boat purchase and no other boat so far has compared to the quality, workmanship, and top notch standard equipment of the 28'pantera.Pantera
( jo ) has also taken the time to answer all my questions while a few other manufactures listed have not even answered my emails for weeks now.

Toolman, i think all the boats listed by you are good boats i just feel the pantera is one step above the rest.

This is just my 2 cents.

27 Activator would spank them all in the rough water.

28 Pantera is a killer package. Would make a good P-5 or P-4 boat too....
