Question Miami for New Years

Myself and my girlfriends family are leaving California behind this year over the New Years holiday. We will be arriving in Miami the evening of Dec. 29th and will be taking a cruise on Jan. 2nd.

What are some cool things to do, places to go, thing to see down there during that time of year? I would imagine that most of the boat builders in the area would be closed, so where can we see some performance boats? Also, were is the hot place to dine and party at on New Years Eve?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Opium, Tantra and most of the other cool nite clubs are about $150.00 per person to enter and upto $1500.00 for a VIP table. Check out BED for a really cool time, although it really doesn't get going until about 5a.m.

Also the Delano always throws a killer bash. Last year it was about $250 per person but it was off the hook., that is if you enjoy the finest gals in the world, NAKED!!!

Thanks for your replies. Do you guys have any suggestion on where to see any cool performance boating stuff?

Taboo,
We are taking a 4 day cruise, leaving Miami on Jan. 2nd. I think it is Royal Caribean and the boat id Majesty of the Sea.

Spectre 30, The Aqua Toy Store, Martin Offshore, Tres Martin and Jonh Arruda of Turbine Marine. Between all those guys you will probaly see some of the best hardware in the country. All of the above are friendly and are happy to show you their products and working projects. They are all located in the Ft lauderdale area.
Cigarette used to be interesting, but in a transition now. Sonic has a great factory, as well as Active Thunder.
As far as SOBE goes, its a HOTT Party, I would show you all around, but I will be tearing it up in Aspen this New Year!
Any more info, PM me.
