Default The X Gets a Lift

F350 V Code Springs: Free
1.5" Softride add a leaf: $123 on the Internet
8 New U Bolts: $80
4" Block for rear Free
Labor with a great friend $ Free
Pizza to Feed Friend & Pop $25

Having the ONLY lifted X in Town....PRICELESS

I ended up with a solid 3 inches and the ride is better than stock. Before I was 1/2 inch from the bump stops in the front, now i am 3.5" from them so I have my travel back. Well worth the hours spent on this.

Yeh frequent, that would be a ***** if the "X" got a lift and I wasn't around to see it, them, you know. I have 285s right now and that is all I can get on the 7" rim without looking like a balloon and rubbing on the leaf spring. Next Summer I plan on 18X10 with around a 315 or 35 inch tire. I need the rim offset to get away from the frame. My buddy, who gave the springs off his SD PSD CC LB 350 has 18X10 with 35s and it is beautiful. The rim looks great on a tire that size because there is less rubber and it doesn't look like a donut. His truck does 11 second 1/4 miles also. I am sure I will go bigger but right now I am 3" from the garage door (8') and I am not ready to sawzall the header yet, which I have done before. I could take off the rack and go 4" more but I would rather build a new garage than remove the rack
