Default Revolution Marine Exhaust

Has anbody used the rev., marine exhaust and is it okay for 550hp. I am told it has the same flow rates as imco and cmi with no water reversion problem. Big diff., in price wondering if worth the money.

thanks jmph

Hello, I just got an email from them, and they said many useing thier exhaust have no problem with reversion. My cam specs are .563in .570ex [email protected]. Do you know about running headers with engine cover installed. Thanks.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Revolutions .I just received them yesterday and have no complaints.
They are perfect for someone looking to replace there stock exhaust and still retain the swichable diverters as in my case.
The quality , fit and finish of these manifolds is right there with more expensive manifolds that I've had on prevous boats.

They have a anti reversion dam built into the riser and a dry flange ... something that has always worried me with my Imco exhaust systems was blowing the gasket and hydraulicing the cylinders.

They auction a pair on e-bay every week with a option to get two more pairs for the winning bidder once the reserve is met.

I think the Revolutions are a affordable alternative for the performance boater . I was able to outfit twin engines for just under $2000.

Anyone have these on 500 EFI's and/or performance spec's comparing them to CMI's; either elbow or tube?

Guys, I dont think you will find a better deal out there for exhaust. They build a quality exhaust and have other cool products out there on the market as well. Give Todd a call, He will answer any of your questions.

I have yet to purchase a set. (Roof and drive way are first.) I am however piching some pennies and hoping to have a set come summer. I know a few people that run this exhaust and are very happy with them. Try and run a search here and maybe on the general forums, there should be some threads about the exhaust. and seriously give Todd a call, He is a boat freak like the rest of us, and loves to talk boats.

Tell him there is only 13 Fridays till the Rat Rally.

Thanks for the info.... Decided to go back with the CMI's, which is what they came with. I worked with Rod (OSO = RPM) in dealing with CMI. Both CMI and Rod were great to me!!!!! I'd highly recommend them to anyone. You can find Rod via his OSO name, RPM.
