Talking O/T- Can your tow truck do this?

Nothing like blowing away a fart-can equipped car!

Yeah that was an awesome video. Those (old) Powerstrokes are 444 cubic inches (the newer ones are 1.3 liters smaller) and run a big Garret turbo with an intercooler. (Prior to 1999 they weren't intercooled)With a chip and 4" exhaust you can get 27# boost and well over 700 lbs/ft and around 400 hp. Add propane on top of that (propane is a catalyst for diesel and has a similar effect NOS on a gas engine) for another 100 hp or so and the result is what you see in the video.

I would have loved to see the look on the guy in the RX7s face when that big Crew Cab 4x4 went powering past him. lol

The 411 on that truck is :

It has a Cummins, yes a Cummins twin turbo diesel engine making close to 900 HP and something like 1200 ft lbs of torque. So is it a Dodge or a Ford ?? It is also running 75 lbs of boost !!!!

Either way it is impressive to move that much weight that fast.

Troutly...That's what your new 6.0 will run like. Can you imagine towing the Formula like that?
