HOT BLOODED:
I have an 30 Eliminator Daytona with twin 800 horsepower all aluminum naturally aspirated motors with Imco standoff boxes and drives. My boat is lighter than most and had problems with to much stern lift with Bravo 34" props. I made arrangements with Houston Props
to have them reworked to reduce lift, add one more inch of pitch and lab finish. They are very knowledgeable and are able to change what does not seem to be working right for each application. I would at least give them a call and you will see what I mean.
If I can be of any help with questions you might have, don't hesitate to post and we can compare boats.
Thanks,
Mike

Just got word yesterday, I will have two sets of Prototype props from Hydromotive. These props are 5 blade props, similar to the P5 but have greater blade surface area.
I will have them in both 32 and 33" pitch. Since the 30 Eliminator generally like a stern-lift type prop they may work well. We have found, on the larger cats, that they like a little more blade area than the P5 has, this is a prop we have been working with Hydromotive on through the winter and they have just been cast, at our request.
I already have prototype props with the increased blade area in 31 pitch and they are ready for testing. We have the only prototypes of this prop in existence. After we finish our testing with Hydromotive in February they will become available through Hydromotive later this season.
Another option for a 5 blade that may work in your case, Daytona30Mike, is the P5X. We have the only prototype from Hydromtive. We will have it available in the low 30 pitch range by Feb. Again we will have the only prototypes of this prop which will also become available later this season.

daytona30mike,
I would also like to extend an invitation to you, as I did to hotblooded. During the week of Feb 8 the owners of Hydromotive will be at Throttle Up testing props with us. We will have all of their new props, plus the new Merc 5 blades as well as the Bravo 1's. This would give you an opportunity to try the P5, P5X, P5 plus, Merc Maximus, Merc Bravo 1, and Quad 4X. We have many racers scheduled for testing this week. We will be testing boats in the 28"-36" pitch range. You will have an opportunity to try props that are not even on the market yet.
We are in St.Petersburg, if you are interested give us a call.
