Default Shrink Wrap cost your area

Im wondering just how much
it costs to have a Boat
Shrink Wrapped that will
travel on its own trailer
across country.
I was told it is $7.00 per
foot in Miami.

When i asked i was told $12 per foot is se michigan, i have a 31' boat so $372 per year. I ended up buying a shrink wrap kit for $400 that will do my boat for two years and after next year all i have to do is buy the shrink wrap that will cost around $50 per year. It took me about 4 hours to wrap it, but it was my first time and it did turn out pretty good.

Let's see, $60 for the roll of wrap, 41' Velocity....that works out to be $1.46 a foot. Got about $500 into the Shrinkfast gun 10 years ago, so figure another $50 a year for the gun and I'm still under $3.00 a foot. Out of that same roll of wrap I also get the 15' Whaler covered. So the cost is even cheaper.
Do it yourself, have your friends all chip in for the gun, it's really not that hard to do. Besides, then you can wrap just about everything else around the house, kid's tree fort, pool furniture, table, wife, dog, kid's sand box, pool slide.
Otherwise I hear $7 - $12 a foot here in NJ.

100ft rolls I get
2 sometimes 3 boats
per roll at over
$250.00 per roll
with shipping.
Then tape and propane + driving

Mike,

I bought all th stuff a couple of years ago and was charging about 8 bucks a foot for everything...I thought it would make a nice side job, but found out that the guys by me nearly give the **** away...charging like 5 bucks a foot. it didn't pay for me to leave my hous on a weekend for that...so now I just wrap my own stuff and some of my friends...
